| I loved helping my Mom make wedding cakes when I was just a little kid. I remember sitting for hours sticking silver dragees, or as my 5 siblings and I called them -- "B.B.'s", on the cake. I loved "making cakes" then and I still love the whole process today. I started Tasty Layers in 2006 after being laid-off from my job for the second time within 3 years. I've been making cakes full-time since then but I've been baking and decorating cakes for years. I even made my own wedding cake in 1990 and I've been happily married since then. I like to think it's because of the cake!! I can duplicate any cake from a picture or if you're not sure what you want, I'll work with you to custom design your own unique cake. Your wedding cake will be an important focal point of your reception and will probably be photographed almost as much as the bride and groom. It should be beautiful, it should be delicious, and it should reflect your unique personality and taste "Contact me" for available dates. |
